Construction Update 35

The pantry is complete.

As you walk in from the kitchen, the left side is all shelves. I plan on having them filled with canned goods in the very near future. Note the pretty yellow walls!

On the right hand side is a work station with storage underneath and shelves above. There is also a small closet for storing mops, brooms, and cleaning supplies.

There are three plug-ins in the wall. Sweet Thing said she might use this extra counter space for the coffee maker, the bread machine, the slow cooker or even an extra microwave.

KitchenAid Mixer

Sweet Thing also got this for Christmas…

It is not the model I intended to get, the one I wanted was more heavy-duty. There was a demo mixer sitting on the shelf with this single solitary box sitting on the shelf below it. I saw a woman eyeing it so I snatched it up before she had the chance. Then when I  looked closely after I got home, DARN! That’s not the one I wanted. Sweet Thing said it was plenty good for our needs so she is happy with it and didn’t want to exchange it. When we move to the homestead I expect lots and lots of this….

Oh man, I can almost smell that bread cooking now, can’t you?
