Gift Wrapping

24 Dec

I have been wrapping presents for Sweet Thing today, they look pretty good don’t they? Some people might not consider wrapping presents a “manly activity” but it is if you look at it the right way. You have to approach the problem like a woodworking project. First you gather your material, then you measure your material. Next you align your material then you attach the material. Then if necessary you trim and adjust your work. It is the same principle working with plywood, 2X4’s, and nails as it is working with paper, boxes and tape. This is the last day guys, you better get with it. You don’t want to be one of those poor lost souls I see stumbling around the mall on Christmas Eve day like some kind of Zombie with no idea what to do. Or even worse you don’t want to be buying your Sweet Thing a gift at the local convenience store on Christmas Eve do you?

Merry Christmas to you and yours. No, I’m the lucky one!

If I had a nickle for every gift I’ve wrapped in my life…I’d retire. Merry Christmas my friend.
