Shipping Containers

8 Aug

I got caught by a train at a crossing yesterday. As I sat there, I lost count of the shipping containers I saw headed north on the train.

The containers probably came directly off of a ship in the port of New Orleans, then loaded onto the train to be delivered up north.

Then they will be picked up by a truck and delivered to their final destination. Of course, you can see where the merchandise came from by the names on the containers. Hanun and China Shipping! They don’t even try to hide it. So much for Made in the USA! Crying face The containers were stacked one on top of the other, with no visible means of attachment. Looks sort of unstable if you ask me. I guess they know what they are doing. Remember, buy American made whenever possible.
