Dogs and Cats

22 Jul

I finally got Jethro and Wilma calmed down enough to feed them without tethering them to the fence. They realize now they are going to get plenty to eat so there is no need to fight over it.

The kittens are no longer small, but they are still pretty cats.

This is Oreo, relaxing after breakfast.

This is Kensey. You can’t tell very well from this picture, but he has one blue eye and one gold eye.

This one is Muffin. I guess we will keep these three since no one else wanted them. When we move to the homestead, they will live in the barn. P.S. A really nice family from up in our neighborhood stopped by to look at the puppies I am giving away, but they really wanted a large breed of dog. We mentioned we had some cats and they ended up taking Muffin to be an indoor cat so that worked out well.

unless you wash out the dog bowls every day be sure to put their names on them so they get their “own” bowl everytime they get fed. my sharpeis get fed standing right next to each other and if we switch their bowls (even when they contain the same stuff) they take a sniff and then switch their positions. luckily they dont fight about it, but they know which bowl is theirs and which one is not. those dogs of yours are turning out to be mighty fine dogs!

Yes they are good dogs. I’ll be glad when this horrible weather breaks, the temps are hard on them.
