I hope all of you in the Northeast are surviving Winter Storm Nemo. I’m glad to living here in the sunny South with our temperatures now in the 50’s. I also hope all of you in the path of the storm were prepared, but I know most were not.
Even with 4 days warning, the stores look like this. Let this be a lesson to the rest of us, stay prepared! Even if you don’t have blizzards where you live, there is always some situation that could cause you to need to have some basic preps on hand. For those of you who just can’t seem to get motivated to do something, why don’t you print off this picture and put it up on your refrigerator and maybe it will remind and motivate you to store up some supplies. Otherwise you may be facing a situation like this. Be prepared!

This is one thing that really gets me a bit peeved. I saw a news story about a guy without heat for the last 4 days because the roads had not been plowed and the oil company truck couldn’t make a delivery. Now this guy must have been close empty on his oil tank before the storm hit and he’s pissed off because he was an idiot! What disaster in the NE have you read about in the media that would make you feel confident in the PTBs ability handle any disaster?
You hear example after example of people sitting around on their hands without making any preperations even after they have bben warned it is coming. It is one thing to ignore warnings from people like us to prep for the future, the reasons may seem a little vague to some people. But to just sit and watch a storm overwhelm your area after you have been given DAYS worth of warning, I certainly can’t feel too sorry for someone like that.
